    Nominees for Officers – One nominee to be elected per office. President: Neffo Cappuccio, Cappuccio Construction. 1st Vice President: Diane Modica, Law Office of Diane J. Modica. 2nd Vice President: Joseph Zirpolo, D & Z Auto Repair. 3rd Vice President: Albert ‘Buddy’ Mangini, G2 Secure Staffing. Treasurer: Kim Altschul, East Boston Savings Bank. Secretary: Joanna Cataldo, East Boston Neighborhood Health Center.
Nominees for Directors – Three nominees to be elected to three seats. Rodrigo Angulo, La Chiva Restaurant; Robert Indresano, Law Office of Robert Indresano; and Chris Pachios, Bulgroup Properties.
Appointed Director – Filling a seat left vacant for a remaining two-year term. Marisa DiPietro, East Boston Social Centers.

Annual elections for the Chamber Board of Directors will take place at 175 McClellan Highway, on Thursday, December 17, 2009, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Candidates for Officers and Directors are typically present at this time.
All East Boston Chamber of Commerce members in good standing as of December 1, 2009, are eligible to vote. Each member business of the Chamber is allowed one vote; voting by multiple representatives of the same business is not allowed. Proxy voting and absentee voting are not allowed. All voting results will be available on Friday, December 18, at the Chamber offices, located at 296 Bennington Street, 2nd Floor; results will then be made available by phone call or email request as well.
According to the by-laws of the East Boston Chamber of Commerce, any member of the Corporation that has been in good standing for a minimum of one year as of December 2009 may run for office by Independent Nomination. To be placed on the ballot for Director, independent nominees must obtain the signatures of at least ten (10) members of the corporation and forward them to the Secretary, Kim Altschul, East Boston Savings Bank, 856 Bennington Street, East Boston, no less than 5 days prior to the day of voting. Independent nominees for any of the Officer positions must meet the above requirements as well as have been a member of the Board of Directors for at least two of the previous five years.
